Within the LHCRE programme NHS England assess our progress on a quarterly basis, we are pleased to report that we’ve achieved a “green/amber” across the 8 milestones agreed at the initiation of the funding agreement. We have met targets and received funding for milestones 1, 3, 4 and 5. We are now working on providing assurance for milestone 6 and moving forward with 7 over the coming weeks. The total funding over 18 month is £7.5m. To date have received £3.15m FY18/19, and will receive the remaining £4.35m FY19/20.
Benefits of the Yorkshire & Humber Care Record (YHCR) have now been identified and will be measured for the first organisational sites that are going live with the ‘system of systems’ technology. NHS England is creating a library of use cases for both health and social care and we have been providing the examples created with the region. Use cases help to explain patient and citizen scenarios that we are trying to resolve.
Discussions are underway to put a service management solution in place providing a helpdesk and on-going support for users as the YHCR rolls out across the region.
Terms of Reference for the Clinical and Design Authority (CDTA) have now been signed off by the Delivery Board. The CDTA will ensure clinical leaders from each area are involved in the creation of an integrated care record. It will assure the development process is supported by hands on strong diverse clinical and social care participation.
We would like to welcome Jason Cresswell to the team who joins us as the cyber security expert. Jason will be creating the central templates and model along with guidance that can be adopted by all the organisations involved in the YHCR.
