As part of the Shared Care Record Summit, join us for a unique live hackathon that will bring interoperability to life. Four leading vendors – Better, InterSystems, Interweave Digital, and Orion Health – will demonstrate how the International Patient Summary (IPS) standard enables seamless record sharing across systems.
Unlike traditional presentations, this session is a hands-on showcase. Each vendor will publish and consume IPS payloads in real-time, proving that cross-platform data exchange is not just a vision but a reality. Expect to see patient information flow across systems in ways that support safer, more connected care.

The Hackathon will also feature international perspectives:
- Giorgio Cangioli will join remotely to share Europe’s progress on the Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF).
- The morning programme includes insights from Kate Ebrill and the Australian SPARKED initiative, offering a global context for IPS adoption.
Attendees are invited to observe the Hackathon live in Hall 7, ask questions, and experience interoperability in action. The results and key lessons will be presented back to the full Summit audience during the afternoon plenary.
